I'm not much of a racing fan, I have to admit that; but you have to admit that NASCAR  has done a great job in raising awareness and funds for charity. Just look up NASCAR + Charity on the web and you find  several pages of results.
Some of the well-known charities supported by NASCAR and their drivers are; Victory Junction Kyle Petty Charity Ride, and ChildHelp
You can find out more and  donate directly at the links above or to most of them at

Rachel Beckwith:One Little Girl's Legacy of Giving

One 9 year old girl had raised $220 dollars for charity:water in lieu of birthday presents and then a few weeks later she dies due to injuries from a car wreck. After her death, donations have been pouring in to a page she set up for charity:water, and the funds raised now are over 3/4ths of a million dollars!

I find it admirable, and others have as well, that Rachel would have rather given her birthday to charity than to own the latest toy or gadget. Although I didn't know her(or her family), Rachel's birthday wish has shown that she had great character. Now, several thousands of of people will have clean water. Rachel's story proves that 1 child or 1 person of any age can make a difference in this world. Rest in peace, Rachel and May God be with you and your family.
